Ceiling Fan Installation & Replacement

A good fan makes a hot room liveable and can take pressure off the air conditioner. We fit new ceiling fans and replace old, noisy or wobbly ones, and we tell you the price on the spot.

Time for a new fan?

Is your fan doing any of this?

Fans work hard in Far North Queensland. They wear out, and an old one can be noisy, wobbly or just not move enough air. These are the usual signs it's time for a replacement.

  • It wobbles or shakes when it's on
  • It's noisy: clicking, humming or grinding
  • It's slow, even on the highest speed
  • The remote or wall control has stopped working
  • The fan light keeps failing
  • There's no fan in a room that gets too hot
How we work

Quote on the spot. Fixed price. No surprises.

  1. 1We look at it. You call or send your details and we book a time that suits you.
  2. 2We tell you the price there and then. A fixed price, before any work starts.
  3. 3You say yes, we do it. Tested before we leave. If we find extra work, we tell you and price it first.

Ceiling Fans FAQ

Ceiling fans, common questions

How long does a ceiling fan take to fit?

Most fans are a short visit. We'll tell you how long when we've had a look at the room.

Can you fit a fan I've already bought?

Yes. Tell us which fan it is when you call and we'll fit it.

What if there's no fan there now?

We may need to add some wiring. We'll tell you the price first and we don't start until you say yes.

Can you put a fan where a light is now?

Often, yes. We look at what's already in the ceiling and tell you what's needed.

Can I fit a fan myself?

Hanging the fan is one thing. Connecting it to your wiring has to be done by a licensed electrician in Queensland.

What you're covered for

Three things I put in writing

Every quote you get from an electrician looks the same from the outside. Here's what's different about this one — and none of it depends on anyone but me.

01

The Fixed Price Promise

One fixed price for the work that needs doing.

I check the job properly before quoting, so the price covers everything it needs — no surprises on the day. If I find extra work once I'm there, I'll tell you and price it separately before doing it. You're never billed for something you didn't agree to first.

02

The On-Time Promise

Inside the booked window, or $50 off the job.

You get a booked window, not a vague day. If I'm not there inside it, I take $50 off the job. No excuses and nothing for you to chase.

03

Lifetime Workmanship Warranty

If it fails because of how I fitted it, I fix it free.

Every install is backed for as long as you own the place. If something I fitted fails because of the workmanship — not a storm event, not a manufacturer fault — I come back and make it right at no charge.
